gwen’s own clothing - equally traditional - is slightly less absurd. overly jewelled, and absurdly heavy - she can feel an ache starting in her shoulders already - but the colours are muted compared to arthur’s. still, she steps forwards - jingling heavily - and smooths her hands across his chest. ❛ i do think you look handsome. i always think you look handsome. ❜ she presses her lips together for a moment to suppress a smile before she speaks again ❛ - even when you resemble an exotic bird. ❜
