Though Mack and Ethan had already found out what baby number four was going to be, they still wanted to get their families and friends involved. Hosting a gender reveal party seemed like the perfect way, and having it at the house just made it easier. And since she was only four months along, she was still able to help with most, if not everything. "So people should start arriving at around one-thirty," Mack said as she finished cleaning up the kid's breakfast as they all went to get dressed. "My parents said they'll be here around one to start helping set up."

Though technically it was still fall, cold weather had already come to Russia. It wasn’t a surprise, after having been here over a year, but Thomas still wasn’t terribly happy about it. His breath was visible in the cold air and snow crunched underfoot as he walked to the village, his ever-present guard at his side. 

“This walk felt a lot shorter in the summer, didn’t it?” he mused, turning to look at Ethan. “Thanks for coming with me. The castle has just... felt awfully small lately,” he added. And with so many recent new arrivals- including the English prince’s future wife- that was true. It was tough for the boys to get a moment to themselves.

“you gonna play at all?” christian asked, sliding ethan’s order across the table.
