With Harry and (alien)Ethan, I thought we were gettin an adventure of Harry teaching Ethan about humanity and having a soul and all that stuff, like Harry had once discovered or needed help with

And while that would’ve been SUPER COOL— seeing Ethan kinda discovering it on his own, going through the world…town… on his own was super sweet! Becoming his own self, creating who he is, his own… terms??

First of all I hope you are doing well and that you are taking care of yourself, I love you and want you to be well taken care of. Second of all, I am in need of more content of your OCs. I think I might need it medically. Overall I’m in love with all of them, feel free to do whatever you like with them. But if you need a jumping off point maybe something like reader is their partner and is having trouble sleeping or in some of our cases (ie me) more trouble sleeping and what they do to help. Jake Scarlett

Jake doesn't really sleep either.

He's always drinking coffee, so he's always awake.

He's got a lot of anxiety and refuses to sleep and risk something happening to him or his loved ones.

But one thing that Jake has that's so important for this: so much body heat!

Jake wrapped his arms around you, looking over your shoulder with lidded eyes as you scrolled through your phone. He watched a few videos, not because he cared for the videos themselves, but because he cared to know what kind of things made you laugh.

Still, he decided to check in with you, just in case. "You okay baby?" He asked, his voice hoarse from the while you two had been sitting in peaceful silence. "Aren't you tired?"

"Aren't you?" You shot back playfully, turning your head a bit to look at him, smiling when he took the opportunity to kiss your lips almost immediately.

"Fair. Do you want to go to sleep?" He said, gently sliding his hand up your shirt, stopping at your navel. There were no ulterior motives, just the need to touch your skin.

The feeling of his thumb rubbing against your stomach gave you butterflies. It was his small gestures that got you. "Mhm... Just can't sleep."

"Well, scrolling through Tik Tok isn't going to put you to sleep any time soon. How about we turn that off for now, yeah?" He suggested, glancing at the dance video that had been on replay on your screen.

He was right, so you gave in and turned your phone off, plugging it up and putting it away for the night. Then you fully turned to him, looking up at him expectantly. He had you put your phone away, so you assumed he had something planned.

He chuckled at your gaze, silently cursing whatever God there possibly was for making you so cute. He could kiss you all night, but that wouldn't solve your problem.

Instead, he took you deeper into his arms. The side of your face was against his warm chest, so warm you didn't think you'd ever be cold again. You could hear his heartbeat, how calm and steady it was. He didn't hold you tightly, but he held you securely. He held you in a way that let you know that no harm would come to you, not as long as you had him.

"Close your eyes. Listen to me count." He said, waiting for you to do so. When you did, he kissed the top of your head. "That's my baby... One. Two. Three..." He mumbled.

There was something about the way he counted. It was just as calm and steady as his heartbeat, almost in synch with it too. You let yourself fully melt against him, sighing softly through your nose as you relaxed.

You were around sixty-five when your eyes began to droop. He'd gotten you sleepy in a minute. Either you were really tired or he was really good.

As you drifted off, you heard him begin to fumble his counting. It seemed you wouldn't be the only one resting tonight.

Mason Scarlett

So Mason does sleep, but he wakes very easily.

Like Jake, is very protective at night especially.

He isn't the most cuddly, he likes to have some space. But if you are cuddly, he lets you lay against his chest, he just isn't one for spooning or laying on other people.

Mason was such a light sleeper. Some nights were better than others for him. Tonight was not better.

You always made sure to be quiet, knowing Mason was a light sleeper. If you were watching something, you did so on your phone, wearing headphones. He'd never get upset at you for accidentally waking him, but you always felt bad anyway.

You'd been wanting to sleep for about three hours now, but you just weren't falling asleep. You groaned in frustration but quickly went quiet when Mason began to stir. Upsettingly enough for you, it was too late.

He looked at you tiredly, as if asking if anything had happened. Mason had a serious resting bitch face, so most people would think he'd gotten annoyed with you. You knew Mason better than that though.

"I'm sorry, darling, I'm just having a hard time sleeping." You admitted, reaching up and stroking his cheek with your thumb. He leaned into your palm, then turned his head to kiss it.

"Don't feel sorry. Need anything?" He asked, wanting to know if there was any way to help. He was tired, but he'd read you an entire bedtime story if you wanted. He'd probably sigh, but you'd know it as his usual sarcastic sigh, one he gave almost jokingly all of the time, even when doing his favorite tasks.

"No... I don't think so. I'm not sure." You answered after taking a moment to think about it. You tried tea and reading, nothing was working tonight.

Mason wasn't content with that answer. He could have accepted it and gone back to sleep, but that wasn't an option in his opinion. When something was upsetting you, he wanted to help.

Suddenly, you heard him start to hum a tune. A small, comfort song from your favorite video game. He'd heard you listen to it enough to know how much it meant to you.

You could help but go wide-eyed. Mason was always surprising you. The fact that he knew the song despite not caring too much for video games, touched your heart. Not only that, but Mason didn't hum. You two had been together for a few years, and you'd only heard him hum about three times, and never for more than a minute.

But he didn't stop. Not even when the song ended. Instead, he moved on to the next one. He was literally making you a playlist out of your favorite songs as he hummed it seemed.

He didn't stop until he was sure you were asleep. Then, with his hand protectively on your lower back, he allowed himself to drift back to sleep.

Heaven "Shadow" Scarlett

Shadow is a very sexually driven person, so she sees nothing wrong with suggesting sex to tire you guys out.

She's also very devoted, so she won't rest until you are content.

Her love language is touch, so she loves cuddling.

"You okay?" She asked, looking up from your neck. Normally, she insisted on your cuddling into her breasts, but she had asked to be held today.

You nodded, putting your phone down beside you. "Yeah, baby, I'm okay. Just tired. Can't sleep though." You sighed, letting your head fall back against the pillow.

Then she began climbing out of bed, without a hint of hesitation. You sat up a little to watch her, confusion clear across your face. "Where are you going?" You asked curiously.

"Making some tea. I found the perfect tea while I was out yesterday. It's supposed to make you sleepy, and it made me think of you." She answered as she put on her slippers and made her way to the door.

You stood from the bed and put your slippers on. "I want to go with you then. Please?" You smiled at her. There was no point if telling her not to do it, she already had her mind made up. She figured even if you ended up not wanting it, it'd be worth a try.

Taking your hand in hers, she led you out of your room and to the kitchen. "You don't have to say please. I'm happy to have you stay with me. Honestly, I'd miss you if I went by myself." She pouted playfully, pulling to the counter.

When your butt touched the counter, she placed her hands on your thighs, pausing to ask for permission. You realized what she wanted and placed your hands on the counter with a nod. Just like that, she lifted you onto the cool surface.

She looked up from between your legs and stood on her tiptoes to peck your lips, breaking out into a grin when you kissed back. She always did that, you had no idea why.

Then she began making the tea. It was a lot more fun than you thought it'd be, but Shadow always made the most mundane tasks entertaining. That was something you loved about her.

When she handed you the cup, you gave an experimental sniff. The smell was pleasant, you almost wanted to lie down just then. Then you took a small sip with Shadow, the both of you letting out different noises of pleasure. It seemed you both had a common favorite now.

"Thanks, babe. This is really nice." You said before letting out a loud, long yawn. It seemed you were getting more relaxed than you thought.

"Hehe. I'm glad..." She said, placing her cup beside you and hugging you around the waist. "We can head back upstairs when you're ready. And if you still aren't tired, I wouldn't mind tiring you out." She said with a wink, giggling as your face flushed.

Ethan Stone

I have no pictures of our good boy Ethan. But for those of you who haven't seen the OC character sheets, he is a gorgeous brown-skinned man with blonde dreads and blue eyes.

Ethan is a heavy sleeper, so accidentally wakes himself up.

He is a huge cuddler too, better hope you don't have to pee when he's cuddling you!

Ethan began to move in his sleep about an hour before. You tried to wake him, even though you knew there was no point. The man could sleep through a natural disaster. Instead, you reached over and began petting him.

He smiled in his sleep, rolling over, except he rolled over too much... And he went the wrong way. You tried to grab him, but it was too late.

You quickly leaned over the bed. "Eth, oh my gosh, are you okay?!" You exclaimed worriedly, though you came to realize your words fell upon deaf ears. Sighing in relief, you climbed out of bed and slid onto his lap. He was far too heavy to lift yourself, especially when dead asleep.

"Ethan, babyyy..." You cooed, poking his cheek. This went on for a few minutes bidirectional you gave up. You were sure he'd stay asleep.

That was until he sneezed in his sleep, his eyes popping open as he sniffled. The first thing he saw was you over his and you watched as his face flushed.

"Hey, babe. What'cha doin' up there?" He asked tiredly, smiling up at you. His hands found your thighs and rested on them innocently. Though he wouldn't hate it if things didn't stay so innocent.

"Just worried about my man. You see, he rolled straight off the bed and didn't wake up at all." You explained, watching as he took on an embarrassed grin. Then you continued, wanting to see more of his expressions. "And guess what? All it took was a little sneeze."

He gave a small laugh and moved his hands to leaned up on his elbows. "Guess we should sweep, right?" His grin widened, and you were almost blinded by how bright his smile was.

You nodded with a laugh and stood up, helping Ethan back in bed before climbing in next to him and laying your head on his shoulder. His arm wrapped around you, his other arm reaching over to hold your hand.

"So why are you up?" He looked down at you curiously. "Can't sleep again?" His suspicion was confirmed when you nodded. He knew you had trouble sleeping. He often felt bad that he could sleep through the night so easily while you were awake by yourself.

He gave a thoughtful hum before he started singing quietly. It was a lullaby you didn't recognize. At first, you laughed, and so did he, but he kept singing. You loved Ethan, but by most people's standards, he wasn't nearly the best singer. His voice cracked and shook quite a bit, but it was Ethan. He was your boyfriend. Everything sounded beautiful in its own way.

Suddenly, your eyelids became heavy. You didn't expect that, music didn't usually do too much. Again though, Ethan was the love of your life. He was pushing aside every bit of embarrassment to sing for you. Maybe that was why his singing made you feel so warm. Maybe that was simply all of his love.

Right before you fell asleep, Ethan stopped singing. You realized he'd fallen back asleep, a soft smile on his face. You smiled too, of course, he'd fallen asleep while singing. But by now, you were almost asleep. He'd succeeded tonight.

The oldest is Ethan Stone, he is 30 and responsible for his two adopted younger siblings Cecilia who is 22 and Nicodemus who is 10. (Their ages varies depending on an roleplay they would be in!)

Ethan works at a graphic design company, making websites and shit...while his two siblings go to school. They are actually very modern vampires and don't dress like how they did in the picture I posted previously fnkskdks. Ethan forced them to take a nice photo together.

So I will do my best to flesh out how I view vampires because literally if I don't keep, no one will gkdkdkksks

Okay so the reasons vampires are able/need to drink blood is because all of them are anemic. They have a lack of red blood cell production, and high rates of red blood cell destruction so they need to consume blood just to keep their bodies functional.

They know they have to consume blood once they start getting a few symptoms like fatigue, cold hand/feet, shortness of breath, lightheadness, dizziness, or a fast heartbeat. Depending on how badly they need blood the symptoms will worsen until they go feral which is a state of vampire normally known for slaughtering. They have no control once they go feral and will regain consciousness once their bodies have a healthy amount of red blood cells.

This could be animal blood or human blood can quench their thirst however, drinking TOO animal blood will cause then to become more beast like, while Human blood would keep their humanity.

Vampire Powers

Create other vampires: Only pure bloods can create other vampires through human and it is by the vampire GIVING their own blood to a human. It would create a 1/4 vampire, so weaker than a pure blood or half blood. They can also impregnate or get pregnant humans and can spread the vampire heritage that way too.

Flight: A pure blood can fly on their own; other vampires change shape to fly.

Misting: Gives the vampires access to places that are hard to secure or reach.

Strength: Equal to that of many men; increase with age.

Hypnosis: Useful for luring and ensnaring victims.

Control the elements: Power extends over wind, rain and other natural forces.

Control of animals: Power extends over many creatures, including insects, rats, fleas and bats.

Eternal life: Varies in length; not all vampires are immortal. They age normally like humans until they are about 30s or 40s, then their aging slows down rapidly.

Scale walls: Vampires are nimble as spiders.

Transformation: Vampires can turn into bats, cats, dogs, wolves, and butterflies. Also insects, rats, birds, fleas, mice and locusts. They can also appear human, changing their ears and eye color, but they can't hide their little fangys

Drain life force: An attribute of the psychic vampire.

Heightened senses: They have better vision, smell, and hearing

Avoiding sunlight: Depending on how the vampire was raised, if they avoided sun too much while growing up, they don't get a resistance to it and will turn into ash. Older generation of vampires were more likely to avoid the sunlight than newer generations due to cultural differences or different times because of the vampire scare that happened 1700s to 1800s where it was just better to travel at night.

When vampires drink blood from someone or an animal, they produce Endorphins, Serotonin, Dopamine from their fangs to help the being feel better so it isn't traumatic. The only time they don't produce these chemicals is when they are feral, so they have aggression, and don't really care for the well being of their food lol

Thinkin I'm thinking the person/animal could go into basically a temporary high? Basically and the Vampire can also use their powers to erase the memory (but not the feeling and something could be used to trigger the memory)
