With eight goals each, Mo Salah and Bobby Firmino have scored more goals in a Champions League than any Liverpool player. One more for either will see them level a record set by Dean Saunders of nine goals in a European competition - with at least two more games to come(!)

Our fans were waving the pathetic plastic flags City gave out for free

Break Away

Sorry for the delay in getting this entry up, I had a bit of a break away in England. I went over to see my beloved Manchester City play against Liverpool FC at the Etihad Stadium and well it didn't go the way the bookies planned it. 4-1 to Liverpool and heartbreak for me. So I decided to head for the nightlife of Manchester to wash away my sorrows...hence why I'm so late with the blog.

Prior to going to Manchester I had a one on one meeting with legendary producer and guitarist Bill Shanley about the production of my planned album. We got talking about ideas and whatnot and I think we both left the studio feeling excited about the plans we put in place. While the majority of the project won't start until mid 2016 I'm still giddy at the taughts of the whole thing.

Today’s post was written by my mum! We were invited to go along to Manchester City’s Ethiad stadium for a tour and to learn more about them, but since we are devout ‘reds’ here it wasn’t for us. My mum, however, is a City fan through and through so it was a brilliant opportunity for her to take my nephew Kieran along. So I’ll hand you over to my dear mum who can tell you all about her day there……
