updated headcanon sheet with the trio. i will go into some of them a bit below the break because this is my post and nobody can stop me. (i know i forgot what roles ethan and lucas played in the eq2 subplot i didn’t feel like looking for it)
lilah:
she was raised in a wealthy family (this is how she knew christian, they grew up together) and she’s fairly close with her parents who are really supportive of her, but she knows they wouldn’t understand her wanting to pursue being a gamer/streamer so she decided to go off on her own. in a&d, she decided to go on her own because she didn’t want her parents’ wealth to be a crutch. it’s why she’s so serious/competitive about her journalism. she has ocd which makes her a bit of a control freak at times and causes her to lash out. she finds ethan exhausting at first because of how he disrupts her life
lucas:
his family is rarely mentioned and he doesn’t seem very torn up about it so i don’t think it’s a stretch to say he prefers not having contact with his folks. i personally think it would make sense that they had a big falling out after he came out in college and he decided to get emancipated. he’s lived with ethan ever since. he thought he’d hate working under ethan but actually finds it nice to not have to be in charge all the time. his dream is just to be surrounded by people who care about him so he’ll follow ethan to the ends of the earth
ethan:
in the main timeline he cut off his family because of the emotional neglect from his parents and the physical abuse from his brother. in a&d he was furious about how they handled his sister’s passing and asked for space. in both timelines he’s bipolar and his respective backstories have given him suicidal ideation, which he relies heavily on games and alcohol to keep at bay. he doesn’t like being left alone
