when I started shipping it if I did:
honestly, when I was writing my first tdbkdk draft and they first interacted in it. it clicked. i heard a heavenly choir in my head "it is MEANT to be" :D
my thoughts:
they're sooooooo GOOD TOGETHER. the angsty beginning of their relationship is the spice I need in a ship. it's also a bit more down to earth than bkdk or tddk to me. does that make any sense? probably not haha. there's rivalry, sure, but not years of resentment/unsaid feelings. it's "just" a high school rivalry turned whirlwind romance. i also love them getting together after UA. a bit more mature, they now know what they want from life (each other)
What makes me happy about them:
everything. their dynamic. the way they're both catcoded (catsuki and shouto is a cat lover, so) the way bakugou needs more warmth in the winter and SHOUTO HAS A FIRE QUIRK. it's an excellent way for him to use his fire differently. not to destroy but to WARM UP KATSUKI. oh my. that's poetic cinema.
What makes me sad about them:
they're likely to miscommunicate bc they're both likely to say less than they really mean. breakup is so likely. but they get back together. but the angst potential is still high.
things done in fanfic that annoys me:
so many things. but I don't want to poop on anybody's parade

cats. rivals to lovers. omg and they were roommates.

when I started shipping it if I did:
it started out as a joke. i liked both bakudeku and tododeku and I was telling my friend about how funny would it be if deku got body pillows of the two boys as a prank. so he could decide. and then my poly ass went "hey, what if he chose both of them". aaand yeah. the rest is history
my thoughts:
love them. they're the air I breathe.
What makes me happy about them:
their differences and how much they complement each other.
What makes me sad about them:
all the angst potential,,, deku going oversees, the trio breaking up and finding each other again

deku taking a long time deciding bw them. i love it when it's al three of them in a relationship, not just deku playing pokemon w them (gonna catch them all)

domesticity or when they're pro heroes. i love to read abt them navigating adult life.

I've given a lot of thought to this I have "dark timelines" where it happens. todoroki with shinsou. bakugou w kaminari. midoriya with Kirishima.

akd sjhf love him. i hated him sooo much in the beginning. i went through the "usual" cycle from "omg he is soo annoying" through "he is just,,, too much" to calling my friend to skip ahead and watch ep 63 bc CHARACTER GROWTH.
absolute favourite. 10/10

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:
THERAPY after his kidnapping. or at least someone talking to him. also the way he was treated after the sports festival, yuck.

bakugou cares. a lot. but he has a hard time expressing his feelings, so he cooks for them. he takes care of his friends, even while denying vehemently that he does not, in fact, have friends.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: a love his friendship w jirou. it's mostly fanon but i love for them to bond over their """unrequited crushes""" (for yaomomo and bakugou) and just be disasters together.
My unpopular opinion about this character: he doesnt have to forgive endeavor. he can move past it, but he doesnt owe forgiveness to him.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: a better endeavor apology/atonement. also, i wanna see the off screen todobaku kiss. like i know they did it. so can we see it????

a headcanon fact: he loves cats bc he likes their independence and timid nature that is just hiding absolute chaos between their furry bodies.
yes i think todoroki is a catboy. because he too is a soft and fluffy boy (on the outside) who has impossible chaotic energy and a mean streak if you cross him.
yes, he's my absolute favourite out of all the bastard favs i have.
