“So Mr. Polik, what did bring you into my facility a short four hours ago?”

“I have many, however if I had known a member of your family was apart of that equation--”
“--Not necessary. I am positive he has done his best with what has been provided to him. He is not a man of superficial demands, unfortunately.”
“Unike yourself?”
“I enjoy the beauty of beauty, yes. I believe one can be selfish in the quests they themselves choose to pursue. Surely you agree, Jenna?”
“--Conquered is the beast that cannot find it’s way. Still the night’s pavement requires light to survive amongst rodents and thriving engines in it’s path.”
“Oh, but I have known of yours.. an admirer from afar, like many I suppose.”
“Yes? And how have you managed without?”
“It’s been quite boring here within the last few years or so. Boy’s disguised as swollen thugs, desperately trying to fill the shoes before them. Playing that old tall tale of ‘Who's the big bad wolf?’, but personally I’m not fond of games. They all fall on their face as time reveals their inadequacies. The night streets suppress themselves until the day they are ready to be conquered again..”
“How silly of me, to be in the home of an insubordinate like yourself.”
“Yet you are here and unarmed.”
“I am. You see when you walked into my business this evening I said to myself.. ‘Now what is he doing here?’ A man of his caliber surely wouldn’t be looking for whores in a brothel, or rather looking at all.”

“Almost.”
“This wasn’t what I had in mind when said you needed help with work.”
“Music isn’t my entire life. I manage to keep my hands dirty in more ways than one.. in this day and age we have to, right?”
“Oh, yeah.. I guess. It’s just I thought.. maybe you wanted to hear some of my stuff. I heard you were looking for band mates.”
“Just a drummer.. my last one became a liability. I wish this industry knew how to handle their coke more.”
“Seth right? My friend Harley use to date him around the time you put out your album, he seemed a bit norm back then.. though there was this one time I found him sneaking around my car..”
“Accurate.. but honestly I didn’t realize you had any.. stuff.”
“Well, it’s not much.. but yeah, I write sometimes.. and sing. I figured Pablo mentioned it to you.”
“Nope. I write my own material but.. it never hurts to hear another’s. Whatcha got?”
