An autumnal blend of whole baked apples, cinnamon, pie crust and cloves. Apfelkuchen is reminiscent of the traditional German baked treat. A scent with a traditional twist. Spicier than the well-known dessert, perfect for those who love warm fragrances.
Pyanopsia, an ancient Greek festival celebrating the god, Apollo was traditionally marked by the offering of the autumn harvest. One such offering, Eiresione, was a branch of olive or laurel bound with wool. On this branch hung various fruits of the season, pastries, and small jars of honey, oil and wine. It was intended as a thank-offering for blessings received, and a prayer for similar blessings and protection against evil for the next year. This fragrance is inspired by the Eiresione, with notes of autumnal fruits, cinnamon, and sweet honey.
