status    :    closed  starter  for  @euava​​. setting    :    carnival  day  two,    at  the  bumper  cars.

          it’s  a  mad  scramble  to  the  cars  when  the  rope  is  lifted  and  the  next  group  of  people  permitted  in.    mimi’s  ahead  of  everyone  else,    her  sights  already  set  on  a  bright  red  car  with  yellow  flames  licking  over  its  bumper.    she  gets  in  before  anyone  else  has  a  chance  to  steal  it  from  her,    sitting  herself  down  and  placing  hands  over  the  steering  wheel.    looking  up,    she  spots  ava  across  the  way  and  shoots  a  mischievous  look  in  the  other  girl’s  direction.    a  finger  points  to  herself,    then  towards  ava    ⸺    mimi  can  never  resist  a  challenge.               ❛❛      hey  ava    !    bet  you  ten  euros  that  you  won’t  catch  me  in  here    !      ❜❜               she  calls  out,    her  eyes  sparkling  with  every  word  that  leaves  her  lips.

      maybe it was the fact that danger was near, or maybe it was just in his nature, but andrés had just spent the last fifteen minutes trying to figure out which room was ava’s. with people coming in and out in a flurry, moving from place to place, the confusion meant that there wasn’t solid information to go off of. when he finally pokes his head in the room, he finally sees her and something like relief floods him. past grievances aside, he was at least glad to see she’d made it here alright. “ i heard some of your stuff got lost along the way. ” he folds his arms and peers around, curious but seeing no roommates just yet. “ think your roommate will have something for you? ”  @euava​

        “ are you sick of lorenzo’s yet? ” he asks, closing the book in front of him and tilting his head. his mood had been sour of late, knowing that with whatever was looming outside of campus grounds, it was unlikely he’d be making a trip home for the break. too dangerous. “ because i could use some comfort food. pasta specifically, even if it’s not as good. ” he rubs his eyes, strained from the amount of time he’s spent staring at pages. “ no offense, there are some people here i actually like, but if i have to spend a full, interrupted year with some of these buffoons i might just let the mystery monster bite my head off. ” @euava​
