What's the relationship between prince!Connor and Cel?
Connor didn’t know Ona had a sister, even less a twin sister. Ona was a little bit private herself, always putting her duty first and it killed Connor inside. He wanted to know more about her, her past, her family… But she only let out tiny snippets.
So, yes, he was surprised when he saw Ona with very long hair and in a pretty dress. She looked stunning, breathtaking– Oh. She was not Ona.
Cel was so different from Ona. She was more outspoken, witty, even a bit cheeky. She had a presence he only had seen it in Ona in the middle of a battle, fire in her eyes. No wonder Richard liked her, he finally found someone that rivals his mind, but that did not mean she didn’t get along with Connor. They were both good at words and shared some tastes, both liking to walk in the Royal Gardens with their noses buried in their respective books.
She would find endearing the way Connor’s eyes keep wandering to her sister, even if he’s consciously trying not to, and doing his best on focusing on their conversation. To his credit, Connor only loses the thread of the conversation twice which is a feat with them having Ona and Richard spar next to them, Ona without her armour. She takes a sip of her tea with a smile.
Cel is pleased to see that her sister is in good hands.
