Since moving to NY, I’ve been on many adventures, but one solo adventure in particular is fulfilling an unmet creative need for expression. I took 8 years of ballet/tap/jazz as a child, I was in drill team in high school, I joined the colorguard in my college marching band, and I taught colorguard for about a decade. I attended dozens of dances and weddings and banquets and parties where dancing was the highlight of the evening. Bottom line? I love dancing in any shape or form. My friends and family can attest to my need to jam, and it comes from the people in my family who also love to move, the most notable person being my mother. She taught me how to dance and how to love music. This was my second BTS dance class for the song MIC Drop and the sense of fulfillment and fun was overwhelming. Passion cup refilled and stress relieved.
