Dearest reader,

The doves that have, up until now, lived up up up in our poplar trees for the last several years have recently decided, to the confusion of all who bear witness, that their new nest shall be right outside our goddamn front door.

These doves are skittish and fly off in a panic whenever they see people. Now I can't leave the house without feeling like an asshole because these idiots nearly knocked an egg out of the nest in their frantic escape from the danger that is me checking the mail.
