Come to the mansion, his twin had urged, it’ll be fun. You’ll have a great time. Well, it wasn’t like he was having a bad time; there was drinking and dancing, lots of people he’d made acquaintances with over the past eight months...but he was alone. For the first time in over a decade, he had no one to share this meaningless holiday with. No one to buy flowers for, or go out to dinner with, to kiss goodnight and hold into his arms until the morning came. It was overwhelming, to say the least.

After about an hour schmoozing his way through the party, he stepped outside to get some air, tugging at the flask in his breast pocket before a familiar face caught his eye. “Ah -- caught,” he grinned awkwardly, unscrewing the cap. “I didn’t think anyone else would be out here.” Wes held the container out to her. “Shot of whiskey for your thoughts?”

It was his first Valentine’s Day without his wife, and while part of him wanted to simply stay home and wallow in his sorrows, he knew that he needed to stop being so pathetic. The ball at Carson Mansion had become quite overwhelming, so he was relieved when he got to Vice, knowing that an anti-love event was more his speed. “Fuck, am I glad to see you here. Thought I was gonna start drowning in all the red lighting -- it’s kind of unnerving,” he mused, slipping onto the barstool next to where Noah was seated, letting out a sigh of relief before waving the bartender over. “What’re you having? Next round’s on me.”

Cupids Bow - Making Your Bids for Date Baskets

Hello all,

So we didn’t just ask you to conjure up these date baskets for our own entertainment, and now is the time for anyone who wants to send those bids in...

SO, here’s the deal:

You can bid on multiple baskets, there is no maximum, so technically if you want you can bid on every single basket.

We will then take all the baskets one by one, note down which character voted for which basket and chuck all those names into a randomiser to find out whose won the basket.

We will ensure people don’t win multiple baskets, and keep it as fair as is possible so there should be enough dates to go around for everyone.

We’ll then announce the winners of those dates on a post at the end of the event - and we’d love to see everyone follow through on those dates and set up threads once the event is out of the way.

All you need to do to send in your bid is send us a message off anonymous through the Eureka-Valentines page, stating what your character is ( if you have multiple ) and which baskets you’re voting for:

eg - Katie Birch, voting for baskets 2, 4, 6, 8

Bids must be in by the 20th February
