Allium, orange blossom, daffodil, locust and rhododendron! =) I hope you're having a great day.
Hey sweetie! My day’s not bad, nice and relaxing between work days~ I hope you have a great day too :)
Allium: What’s the best thing you can cook?
Even my dad who’s cooked for yeeeears and is fantastic with most things can’t cook pork chops as well as I can~
Orange blossom: If you could pick the gender and appearance of your child, would you?
I’m assuming this is about biological children and I’d say no, but I’m not planning on ever having kids myself. Adopting kind of contains picking the appearance but I’d never intend for that to play into any choice of who I’d want to join my family and home.
Daffodil: What’s the most thoughtful present you’ve ever received?
It wasn’t a big or flashy present or anything, but I still feel really grateful for it. Last year I’d mentioned multiple times around friends and family that what I really want for presents is money specifically for cosplay. Money I wouldn’t feel guilty about spending on fancy cosplay when I was really low on cash. And I’d assumed everyone just forgot about that in my family, but at my birthday party, I opened Tony’s present and there was an envelope that said something like “for cosplay” and it had a small amount of cash in it, and just the fact that he’d listened, and offered money even though he didn’t have a lot to offer, was so amazingly sweet. Tony, if you read this, thank you again, and the handmade wand with it still sits on the desk in my room in place of the one professionally made simply because you took the time to make it for me instead and that means so much~The other present I’ve gotten that was thoughtful was a plane ticket to visit Dani in Florida the year before that :>
Locust: What was your favorite book as a child?
The Two Princesses of BammareThis choice will never change and I feel like it still could stand up to my standards now. If you haven’t read this simple chapter book, please please pleeeeease do so.
Rhododendron: What’s the scariest dream you’ve had?
it doesn’t even sound that scary out of context of my fears and experiences andI’d really rather not talk about it so instead here’s a couple dreams that were scary at the moment as a kid but looking back they were fucking weird:
A bright green radioactive venomous spider gets loose and goes around biting people somehow without being seen and ended with it biting me right on my knee and I was more worried about the shattered ‘knee bone’ than the venom it had (I had my priorities clearly straight as a kid)
My family had Scooby Doo as a pet dog and one day he glared at a paper bag, but then his eyes popped off and hovered over to land on the paper bag which then grew legs and a big mouth with sharp teeth and chased my brother and I through our house. It ended with the bag thing cornering us in the bathroom and eating my brother (I was extra protective of him for a week after that dream)
