Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 Remember when Azerbaijan finished in the Top 5 five years in a row but it was always a different place in the Top 5, almost like they were trying to tick them all off for the sake of it? Literally as soon as they'd done the entire Top 5 Azerbaijan went a bit shit...but only by their own standards. With a worst-ever result of 11th in the SF, Azerbaijan's dark days are a damn sight brighter than some nation's proudest moments. They're just too bloody good at Eurovision. Eurovision in the 2010s: A (not really) definitive ranking of all the competing countries 26. Georgia 🇬🇪 I'll tell you what, this video was the most painful one to make, having to listen to this absolutely dreadful song over and over trying to find just 20-30 redeemable seconds to make a small clip of. This is somehow the highlight of a decade that started off with back-to-back Top 10 finishes and has ended in complete tatters with a hat-trick of failed qualifications. What a flop. Eurovision in the 2010s: A (not really) definitive ranking of all the competing countries 31. United Kingdom 🇬🇧 My home nation is the worst-performing automatic qualifier of the decade... shocker. I can't help but think this guaranteed appearance in every final is the only reason the UK is as high as 31st because frankly it's been a piss poor decade. Bookended by last place finishes and filled with plenty of cringe performances, our highlight is that time we almost cracked the Top 10 with a reunited boy band. Good times. Eurovision in the 2010s: A (not really) definitive ranking of all the competing countries 37. Slovenia 🇸🇮 God the Balkans have really had a bit of a shit time at Eurovision this decade, haven't they? Slovenia somehow comes in as the second-best former Yugoslav nation of the decade despite not once finishing in the Top 10. Eurovision in the 2010s: A (not really) definitive ranking of all the competing countries 38. Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦 So this is exactly I call it a (not so) definitive ranking as most people would place Bosnia and Herzegovina near the top. After all, they've only ever failed to qualify once and finished in the top ten twice. The issue is they've not bloody been here for most of the decade. The broadcaster is broke af and as a result we've only seen them on a handful of occasions, hence why they're ranked so low. Don't agree that they should be ranked so low?
