“And this— this is called a coffee?” Aella questions, looking down at the strange brown liquid within her hands, the one that Eurydice has handed off. While she trusts the other dryad’s choices implicitly, the concoction gives her a bit of apprehension. There are many things about the world as it has become now that do not make sense to Aella, but to go through it with another dryad is much better than to face it alone. At least Eurydice has been awake for longer, she has gained somewhat more knowledge of the strange proclivities of mortals. “Why is there ice within the glass? Why did they not melt it down over fire first, if they wished for more water?” ( @eurydicekouris )
