Quasi-OOC OC Questions 👀
Already answered those questions for the ones on speed-dial in my mind, so Randomizer said Eurys
6. What is THE thing(s) that inspired you to make the character? Would they like it?
No particular thing other than the Dream, I guess.
I just wanted to make a character who had a funky experience with the Dream of Dreams before awakening, particularly one who de facto had most of one dead sylvari's memories and struggled to differentiate their own self vs the memories that do not belong to them.

7. Have they changed much since their first concept? Could they be considered the same person? If not, would they get along with each other?
I have expanded on the initial concept a bunch, changing a bunch of things along the way as they were tied to other characters who had changed.
Original Eurys was a bit too much of a Morwen copycat. She took in Morwen's memories to an unhealthy degree and, while she kept saying she was her own person, she made it her Wyld hunt to eagerly burst into other people's lives to make sure they got closure (spoiler: it caused issues) and sort of disappeared behind Morwen's shadow in a way, especially when it came to Gareth.
Current Eurys knows the memories she saw before awakening aren't her own (close to a revenant in perspective) and interacted with many sylvari other than Morwen, meaning that once awake she is less rash and thinks it through a bit more. She still kind of lets the echo take over a bit at times and she fucks up a bunch, but she has more agency and her personality really shines when it matters.
As for being the same person... the core is the same Eurys and they would get along, but depending on where they are in their journey, current Eurys might feel uncomfortable with how the original one didn't know herself.
Here's some screens 'n facts of a few of the new looks that I haven't shown already.
Ethanryel changed their outfit not long after coming back from leading the cleansing efforts in the Crystal Desert [around the start of IBS], their physical changes already past the line where they had to rethink their concept of comfortable clothes. They're pretty sure someone called it a morale boost, but they don't know why.
[That staff has different flowers (maguuma lily/effervescent pod), and their body should be a bit more crystalline]
When Eurys left the Grove and headed for the Heart of Maguuma [around the start of s3], she was just a little more than a sapling, but the call was too strong to ignore. It was okay though, plenty of her siblings in the Mists were there to guide her, teach her and keep her safe.
Haidee's fave outfit while she worked in Taimi's krewe during IBS.
When she doesn't have to casually be in the right place at the right time by pure chance (like the year spent in the desert helping refugees), comfort is paramount for her, and being able to spring into action if necessary is always a nice option.
A simple combo of a shirt, pants and the occasional scarf was more than enough for most days in the relatively quiet life at the lab, even better if bunny-themed!
Named when I got her. I don't like to have an uneven amount of males/females, so after snagging Axelle and Kandel, I needed to even it out and her wings are GORGEOUS
