Eusalia Map: 1809
I created a map for my new story, Sophie of Rostock. This is the continent the story will take place in! Wardenburg is where the story will take place for the beginning. Wardenburg had recently been unified in 1795, with the unification campaign lasting 90 years. Before it was unified, Wardenburg had made up of multiple principalities, duchies, grand duchies, and tiny kingdoms. The King of Dresden took action into his own hands in 1720 and began the unification of the country. His son, and his grandson continued the unification. His grandson, King Frederick IV declared himself King of Wardenburg and was crowned in 1796. Now that Wardenburg is reunified it has become a great nation once again, with dominating agriculture in the continent. Wardenburg and Vasa now control trade in the North Sea which contains 38% of the world’s trade. Wardenburg’s biggest trading partners besides Vasa include Calais, Beloshov, and Monte Vista. Wardenburg has always had a rocky relationship with Beloshov, while Wardenburg was unifying Beloshov took land from Polstein and Odessa and several smaller countries. And it does not help that Vasa and Beloshov have been at war for the past five years over control of Vastaland, which Beloshov has completely taken over.
