"Have you seen Suicune anywhere in the recent past?"

Suicune? That was one of the Legendary Beasts of Johto, wasn’t it? It was notorious for roaming about Johto freely, even getting up close to some lucky Trainers. He’d seen it only once, as it and its fellow beasts lurked in the basement of the Burned Tower. Silver hadn’t gotten particularly close, but seeing them through the gaping hole on the floor above it was enough for him. Unfortunately, that was the last time he laid eyes on Suicune.

And now that he thought about, Silver thought he might have seen this guy there as well. “No. I saw it a few years ago at the Burned Tower in Ecruteak, but that’s the last time I ever saw it. Sorry.”

Kate listened intently to every word from the mans mouth, eyes never straying from the one who was gracious enough to impart such detailed knowledge upon her. She wasn’t sure how long her partner had been talking, it felt like it couldn’t have been that long, but the setting sun, reflecting it’s orange rays into the library was telling her otherwise.

In all honesty she hadn’t meant to spend so much time conversing with him. A polite hello had turned into a polite conversation, which became a trading of information. Before long Eusine had dominated the conversation, not that Kate minded. She was always more than happy to learn something new.

“Intriguing,” she murmured. “I’ve never met an individual so educated on legendary beasts. I must say I’m impressed,”
