Eva Frank (1754 – 1816) Mystic leader
"I Have Shown You The Possibility Of A New Beginning"
Tsaddique's Narrative: Wise Jakob built a simple eight-foot-high cross in the garden. He hung a knitted woolen sleeve on the left arm of the cross. He then told us "I have shown you the possibility of a new beginning. We can do this kind of abnormal act."
Her Highness Eva was present. She said that the sleeve was "to dry the tears of the lost sheep of the House of Israel." She then clasped her hands and held them out in front of her, smiling. She was pleased because she had said something intelligent. Eva was young and cute.
Her Highness started to leave. A ray of light shone straight down from above onto a spot about twenty feet from where we were standing. A small meteorite slowly fell within the ray of light to the ground. Jakob walked over to the meteorite and picked it up. He gave it to Her Highness and said, "I want you to have this."
In the garden were three holes which large wild vicious animals had dug and crawled into. We could see the eyes of the wild animals peering out from the holes which they had dug. But eventually two of the three wild animals died. While in prison Wise Jakob wrote his famous Red Letters to the Jews of Europe and beyond, exhorting them to convert to the religion of Edom. He said that the time would come when there would be mass killings of the Jews of Europe and the Turkish empire. The only way to avoid that fate, he said, was to accept baptism. Referring to what we now call trains, he said "Many will be taken away on the trains who would otherwise have become kings."
They were called the Red Letters because they were written in a room lit by a red lamp, which infused it with a red glow. The letters contained many spelling errors. On one of the two letters Jakob inscribed a large Greek letter epsilon. Therefore that one was called the Opsilant Red Letter. Wise Jakob ordered that hat the font used to print the Red Letters should be twice as large as normal.
Jakob discussed his words with a priest at the Shrine of the Black Madonna. Jakob bested the priest, who said "I do not agree, but you have defeated me in argument."
BuberZionist's Commentary: Eva Frank was Jakob Frank's daughter. After his death in 1791 she replaced him as head of the Frankists. Her fortunes dwindled after her father's death and at one point she was sentenced to debtor's prison. She died in obscurity in 1816.
