Eva Hart, who was 7 at the time Titanic sank, has always remembered she split in half.
Think about it. She (Titanic) was filling up with a million galleons of water from the tear in her side. She was 52, 310 tons, 882' 8'' long, 92' 6'' in breadth, her hull and superstructure contained 4,632,800 cubic feet of space. Her top deck (poop deck) was wooden. Eva Hart remembers the ship splitting. No one else does. The ship is in pieces at the bottom of the ocean. The movie has major inaccuracies (ie, the movie takes as long as the ship herself sinking, yet 8 minutes of that is actually about the ship sinking. Lol). I've never seen the movie, don't want to, not my style (romance. Gag), but for research purposes, I watched the sinking scene, before returning to the 2 hour, 41 minutes, 19 second fully recorded video of the ship sinking. Now, the ship sinks for 2hours, 40 minutes of that time, the extra minute 19 seconds is dedicated to what happens before she hit the iceberg. I've been in an argument with someone who claimed I was watching the movie.
I still have never seen the movie.
My dad is a technician.
The ship's keel was being filled by 1, 000, 000 galleons of water, the damage was some 300 feet long below the water line and five of the sixteen watertight compartments were being rapidly filled with water. There's no way she couldn't have split.

This is her story, told by her to Ron Denney. Professor Denney and Eva were friends for many years, in a way this book was written by them both (he published it after her death.) Do you know what she's said?
