Two months ago I was contacted by the collective EVA IMPACT,an Italian cultural association which promotes the study and diffusion of Anime SCI-FI culture ; They were preparing an art exibition to celebrate the hit animes of the Nineties , and asked me to make a fanart tribute to a SCI-FI anime of my choice,between Evangelion,Cowboy Bebop and Trigun. I chose Trigun ,because it has a sentimental value to me,and I distinctly remember as a teenager being struck by the characters’ amazing personalities and ahead-of-its-time content of the story. It really makes me feel like I’ve reached a goal in my career as an Illustrator,to be part of such a well organised event,and to be allowed to celebrate this way something that I acknowledge as a significant part of my education.
