Later that evening, Eva got a call from Felix, the ghost she met at the festival, who invited her to the Full Moon Revelry. They joined the other revelers at the bonfire, took a dip together in the river, shared their first kiss, and woohoo'd in a nearby crypt. It was oddly romantic, and Eva went home hoping she'd see Felix again.
And so with Lou back in Moonwood Mill, fulfilling his werewolf destiny, Eva went into labor alone. She wasn't mad at him. Actually, she probably understood better than anyone, but she was still sad that they couldn't make their relationship work. And she wished that one day Lou would have a change of heart about having a child.
Y'all, this is a mess. Eva and Lou are so in love, they make the most adorable little family, and I don't think I have the heart to break them up. I may need to start this challenge over with a new sim. 😂
Eva moved into the Crow's Nest in Ravenwood—a house she bought specifically for the wishing well in the front yard—and wasted no time making a wish for a child. She was immediately approved to adopt and chose a newborn named Nikolas.
The bond between them seemed unbreakable. When he was gone, she missed him, and whenever he wanted to come over for a visit, she let him. Nikolas loved him. So, Eva suggested they make an arrangement. He would be her life partner and her only love, but she would be able to fulfill her destiny without him getting jealous. Lou agreed. Also? No more stealing shit.
Caimile & Co. are in a good place and I need to take a break from them for a bit, so I'm going to give the Mystical Motherhood Challenge by @simssav a try. Meet Eva Snow, child of the islands, family oriented, outgoing. Let's see how many adorable occult babies we can have!
Eva's decision was made easier when Lou stole a picture off her living room wall. It wasn't a valuable piece, but it was hers and he had no right to take it. He confessed to being a kleptomaniac, and while the trait itself wasn't necessarily a deal breaker for Eva, the fact that he'd kept it from her was. And since Lou wasn't ready for a child anyway, it was best to cut their losses before the relationship got any more complicated.
This was both unexpected and devastating. Eva needs to take time to heal and rethink her goals. She visited a doctor who told her she is infertile because of her last pregnancy. So...it looks like I'll be starting a new Mystical Motherhood save, and letting Eva have her happily ever after with Lou.
