It’s rough, it’s unbalanced and it’s mostly disrupted by unspoken words. As you maybe noticed, they don’t really talk properly with each other.
They are unable to be honest to each other.They are unable to tell what they fell.They are unable to show true feelings, hence weaknesses.They are held back by the world that means Kill or be killed.
How can you tell the other what you really think if that one had betrayed you in the past?
How can you trust, if this could mean death?
Their story is complicated and it’s also very rough because of the lack of affection in that world.
Edge tried to protect Red who seemingly gave a shit about the things Edge told him and ordered him to do.He tries to rule with an iron hand while Red is somewhere lost in his self-pity and his feelings of guilt.
So it’s a long way for them to go to -maybe- live a happy life.
