Happy Pride Month, everyone! To celebrate the start of Pride Month, I took four audios from 4 different productions of the musical Falsettos with 4 different Marvin and Whizzers singing the song “What Would I Do?” and I combined them into a supercut of the song. Here are the four Marvin and Whizzers that I used in order from first to fourth:
1991 Hartford Regional Production - Evan Pappas (Marvin) and Roger Bart (Whizzer) 1992 Broadway (also originated the roles in ‘March of the Falsettos’ and ‘Falsettoland’) and 1993 National Tour - Michael Rupert (Marvin) and Stephen Bogardus (Whizzer) 2016 Broadway Revival - Christian Borle (Marvin) and Andrew Rannells (Whizzer) 2019 National Tour - Max von Essen (Marvin) and Nick Adams (Whizzer)
I hope you all enjoy!
Press reel for 1992 Broadway musical My Favorite Year, with an Ahrens & Flaherty score. Andrea Martin won her first Tony for the show, and the cast also included Tim Curry, Evan Pappas, and Lainie Kazan.
