Dear Cards, will I regret it if I quit my current job?
Right, so I’m answering this on mobile! Apologies if it looks weird! Normally I’d wait but this reading was just too damn good.
So I did a three card decision spread:
Leaving: Nine of Wands. If you leave your job and try to find a new one, you have to understand that there is going to be a lot of competition. It’s going to be a serious challenge and it’s going to test your willpower. You will need a lot of courage and a lot of persistence, and you’re going to be relying heavily on your ingenuity and self-confidence to get you through this. It’s not going to be easy.
Staying: Strength. If you stay, it will be necessary to find your inner calm, build your mental stamina, and foster a more compassionate approach then you’re currently taking. Show kindness and gentle understanding; control the ‘beastly’ side of yourself. In that way, you can (gently) influence those around you to become less of a burden on you.
Advice: The Lovers. This card could not be any clearer: this decision that you’re making is incredibly important. Your values are being tested, and if you don’t know what your values are, it may be a good time to define them. Figure out what you stand for! Consider the consequences of every option here carefully, and be sure to be completely honest with yourself when weighing them. This is clearly not a matter that should be decided with a simple pull of cards (though I’m very flattered you would ask me! :3) and making a rash decision could lead to negative consequences. As the Sylvari say: 'Act with wisdom, but act’.
