Simon and evan if they were teenagers together
im loosing my mind
"Wasn’t I meant for something more than this? More than just the same old dusty sand coating the landscape, and endless roads leading to nothing but more structured reality promised by our perception. They tell us the route 90 is a death warrant, but if it is what kind of destination is death? We all go there someday. Life and death are the only two universal aspects of every single thing on earth. Even things that may not be necessarily alive, everything created will inevitably be destroyed. That's the law of physics: all energy created will be destroyed, nothing is guaranteed a permanent existence, not even time. It will end one day. Subsequently, what is this life we live? What is this life we survive? Many of us try to find the answers: starving artists painting the world in their light, the tortured poet attempting to give meaning by elaborate fallacies and grandiose choices of grammar and punctuation, a evolved musician using the human brain’s need for constant sensory information to give one feelings and emotions not their own by means of sound. It is all to connect to someone else's story. The scientists only let themselves exist in the whelm of numbers and absolutes. If the world is tangible by rules then somehow we will gain control? The average day person is just trying to find meaning in the little things, like the neurotransmitters entrancing them to be attached to their ‘family’. However one day we all leave each other forced or willingly. They try to claim love keeps us together but love is not in our playbook of rules. Media and art claim it is transcendent, but are humans the only ones that feel it? If so then it is not greater than our reality.
Being human is inherently polarizing and hypocritical. We seek unity yet we push away. I’m overwhelmed by the complexity of existence itself, the arts and the craft and the math and the reasons upon reasons we come up with to explain our right to life. They claim over and over it’s love. However, nothing has a greater right than the nature of reality. We are just 3D visitors to a 4D world allowed to examine the possibility of the great endless dimensions. Love is not more than that. Existence of humans is not more than that. The human brain's cognition cannot push this limit and it shouldn’t be able to. Despite our want and our need enforced by evolution we need to stop this imperialism of concepts past our understanding. We need to accept that we are all unknowing and that is okay.
