Ugh.

Yeah. Just...ugh. Have been feeling various kinds of crappy lately...which is why I haven’t been doing much around here other than reblogging stuff. I have threads...and I look at ‘em and get...nada.

 I don’t know whether it’s stress or what that’s suddenly gagged the muse. If anyone has any suggestions on kicking this sudden inability to write...I’m all ears.

I honestly am not sure what you mean by this.

If, by real, you mean paid, then no, they aren’t. And that was exactly my point. In fact, I used “real” authors as an illustrative contrast to fanfiction authors who are, in fact, ordinary people who write things as a hobby and/or as practice. They aren’t paid professionals seeking monetary gain with an editor at their disposal, which is why people need to calm the frick down about timely updates.

If that’s what you meant, I am mildly offended by the implication that because they aren’t paid, they aren’t legitimate/real. They still give their time and resources to provide content for the fandom, and that’s a very real thing. And you are, I’m assuming, an active participant because, yknow, you’re on tumblr and all.

But you also may have meant that they aren’t real in that they don’t actually exist. I’m fairly certain the fics I read are real words, so while we could get into a deep Cecil/WTNV type conversation about what is real, I’m super busy and am therefore going to assert that, yes, they are real authors.
