There's a instrumental/jazz cd that I've owned since I was very little. I never knew the artist because I always knew it by the album title. After an hour or two of searching tonight, I finally managed to track down the album. It's called Evening Serenade by the late Charles Cochran It's very very dear to my heart; I used to fall asleep to it nearly every night as a child, the instrumentation of each piece are very much ingrained into my brain (although I don't have each of the titles memorized because, like I said, I was a wee babe and listened more to the music itself than studying the titles and artist attributions) That album is not available online anywhere for streaming. The physical cd is in our possession somewhere, but I couldn't find it after searching this evening. I found a seller listing it for nearly $100 because it's evidently that rare I would be devastated if I never got to hear that album again
I drafted this post last night. My sister found the CD and I copied it to my computer. It's so special to both of us. I'm listening right now and tearing up because I have missed these songs so much 🥺🥹😭
