" a kind smile towards his youngest before a little tip of her chin. "remember - two hours before the enchantment wears off then a hop and skip towards the apartment before the sunlight catches you. the sun king has sent his invitations , has prepared the shimmering palace of versailles. the 30th birthday approaches.
renowned for his parties - the lack of for the past five years was much concern. but now - the sun king welcomes all to bare witness to his greatest one yet. to bring in the 30th year and the winter solstice. the palace has been decorated to the extremes ; performers crowded at the main entrance for entertainment. the paled skinned attendees seemed shy of the sun - as if it hurt their eyes but basked in the warmth.
upon the arrival - the first snow brought good omens ; a smile on faces. you have been invited into the gardens of versailles to attend a wine tasting from the vineyards of the royal palace , horseracing through the wilds of versailles. head to the mirrored hall for a special play of the god apollo - the sun god. witness the fencing contest in the courtyard. perhaps head to the lounge rooms for games of dice and cards ? and later that evening - attend the sun king's birthday ball followed by a lavish banquet.
