as soon as lilith came strutting through the door of the masquerade event, she’d been on the hunt for interesting characters to mingle with. since escaping the empty, her sole purpose had become to make as many powerful allies as possible. she would swear it was for personal gain, but the demon knew as long as she had the right people tucked away in her back pocket, she might refrain from returning to her eternal slumber.
the hustle didn’t stop because lilith was in party mode, she was just having more fun adding people to her list dressed as a cartoon, stereotypical version of her favorite archangel. red devil’s horns sat atop her head, in contrast to the black waves of hair cascading down her spine. dressed in nothing more than a tasteful bralette and red leather pants, it was easy to say lilith was feeling the fantasy.
the demon made her rounds throughout the crowds of people gathered in the de martel home. often flirting, twirling stray strands of hair around the tip of her pinky finger or finding a hard expression as she stared deadpan towards the person speaking at her. despite the highs and lows, lilith was having a blast. it only added to that she didn’t have to worry about pesky hunters keeping their eyes on her. lillian morgan was one of the best ideas the original demon had ever thought up.
continuing her way through the masses, hips swaying to the song blaring through the speakers, lilith’s eyes landed on an interesting looking man from across the room. another one, she told herself, red louboutins clicking against the floor as she made her approach.
❝ what a blast , am i right ? ❞ lilith commented, taking a small sip from the champagne flute balanced between delicate fingers.
