Kitty loved weddings - it was why she had agreed to begin with, and why she'd learned a new instrument just for Narcissa to walk down the aisle to. But it was a very different experience to play at one than to attend. Still, she was enjoying herself - although she had seen far less of her date than she would have liked.

However, she managed to take a break and let the DJ take over and made a bee line for her and Emma's table. She gave her a kiss on the cheek as she sat, perched on the chair next to her. "Please tell me you haven't ditched me for a better date."

Sirius draped himself over Daisy with a grin, clinking her cup against his and taking a sip before trying to assemble his features into a more serious expression, though he wasn't sure how successful he was. "Daisy, I will pay you double to tattoo me right now."

Sirius had lost Mary, but last time he'd seen her she'd been with Marlene, so he was only slightly worried about it. He stopped off at the bar to refill his cup, grabbing two shots and holding them between the fingers of his free hand as he turned back around, scanning the room until he found who he was looking for.

"Hey stranger," He said in Dirk's ear, bringing his arm around the top of his shoulder. "Got you something." He offered the shots, one for Dirk and one for himself.

Sirius had a drink in both hands and a wide smile on his face - it was getting easier and easier to forget the latest slight from his family. A lifetime of practicing had made it second nature, and as he spotted Remus across the room, the Malfoys were the last thing on his mind.

He was still halfway away when he shouted "Rem!", voice booming over the other noise. He made his way to his friend, knocking one of his drinks against Remus'. "Did you see the witch in the light up skirt? I need one."

Severus sighed as he waited for the bartender to make his drink - he had kept one in his hand the majority of the night for lack of knowing what else to do with his hands. He nodded his thanks, dropping a couple knuts into the tip jar and turning around, taking a moment to prepare himself to re enter the festivities when a familiar face ended up next in line at the bar behind him.

"Alecto." He greeted, a small wave of relief washing over him for the company. "I suppose I shouldn't be surprised to see you here."

He stood stock straight, blending in with the rest of the guests thanks to Pen's help with the attire, but he still felt out of place. The silk band holding his hair back tickled the back of his neck, and the neck and cuffs of his suit felt too tight. He didn't like events like this - but Lucius had, at one point, been a dear friend. He wasn't sure if he ever would be again, but it felt rude not to come when invited.

Shrewd black eyes watched the man make his way through the crowd, taking one step into his way and handing him one of the two champagne flutes he had plucked off the nearest waiter's tray. "Lucius." He greeted, bowing his head slightly. "Congratulations."
