I am slowly drawing other people's eridians just because I can/to get practice and because I'm impatient at sharing, Imma just kinda post as I go along first up we've got Archy ( @notes-and-violets ) and Huh & Big Steppa ( @adsurgitvagus )

i am not trying to keep any kind of proportions or anything, i'm just drawing (and surprisingly, no, i am not tracing y'all's art, I'm just eyeballing it and doing my best)

I am,,,far from an artist and I drew this at midnight last night because it wouldnt leave my head

but uh i present my own fucked up lil Eridian creetir inspired by @pineappical @kaiiaii @treesaplingtwig @idiotjae @vampirejuno @meeks-beas and @lewadny (lmk if you dont want to be tagged)

additional info:

-it is covered in various imprints of things it bumped into shortly after hatching

-this is due to its carapace starting off softer than usual, the fact that its "echolocation" wasn't very good at first (it got better as Fossil aged but its still not at 100%), and all its legs being ever so slightly askew and not uniform (one is definitely shorter than the others)

-its kinda reminiscent of limestone

-its name in Eridan roughly translates into "The One Who Bumps"

-it's still fairly clumsy but incredibly intelligent

-Grace calls it Fossil due to the similarities between its imprints and earth fossils

-it is fascinated with the concept of fossils

-im thinking the spiral-ish ones might be due to some sort of tool or something that it bumped into but I'm also not 100% set on imprints yet so

-its parents could not stop it from all this bumping bc despite its clumsy nature, it was still fairly quick to skitter off and bump into further things
