Stellarcore's Operation: Ichor
The Ichor Operation is an operation to make the Elixir/Ichor a dominant power source around the world. Ichor is a universal, all in one source, it basically fuels the entire planet. Not only it acts like a fossil fuel of sorts but it also has magical properties, these properties are not brought toons to life. When humans discover this, they decide to take advantage of this and like it the planet's source for oil, ink, medicine, electricity and other resources. Now ichor is the main source for basically anything...but it did come at a cost.
Something ungodly was created from elixir causing what humans have called twisted. The first twisted, nicknamed the Eclipse, absorb the elixir's power, making it stronger, this caused it to destroy the elixir source in the area and to cause an apocalypse for a year. They were not able to stop Eclipse, instead it fled to an island away from humans....the island of Starry Isles.
*The world is safe now but while Elixir is still the world's dominant fuel, only train professionals can handle the stonger forms of it.
Sergio originally was a character designer for Cosmictoons, or Cosmic nowadays. He had a small family with only his wife and daughter. For years however his daughter struggled with a life threatening illness that her family struggled to handle. Sergio was desperate for a way to make her happy until one day he discovered the gems and brought two of his toon designs to life. Stellarcore and the Government found this out, however rather than arresting him for a possession of a possibly dangerous substance, they offered him to help them gain more of this substance seeing it's power.
Marty was Sergio's friend throughout high school & college. He's single and has no kids, generally a lonely guy besides his friend, Sergio. Whenever Sergio left the main Cosmic headquarters to work on the Ichor Operation, Sergio offered him to take care of the first toons brought to life by the Elixir. He helped in Starry Isles by teaching the new toons how to act and get along with humans, he generally saw the first toons as the family he never had...
(Fun fact: It was Marty's idea to create Brawlywood and Starr Studio in that location)
Ever took over Cosmictoons around the time Marty & Sergio started working for the Company. His dream was to make the company bigger than ever and extend the company. Stellarcore offer Cosmictoons extra elixir in exchange for Sergio's help in the Ichor Operation, Ever saw it as an opportunity to fulfill his dream. He created the Starry Isles, this giant amusement park featuring all of Cosmictoons' characters in one place. The caption on his pic is an overstatement however, he really didn't do much other than profit off the Operation while Stellercore & Cosmictoon workers did most of the work. Despite that, his family still took over after he resigned...
Stanley Sternburg, the leader of Operation Ichor. Stellercore is responsible for the energy around the entire world, so Stanley takes his job very seriously. Stellercore found out about the gems when a small town(the one Sergio lives in) started experimenting a weird energy surge. Seeing this, Stanley and the government saw great potential in this new energy and set find the perfect responsible. Stanley took in Sergio, seeing great potential in the younger man. Sergio worked with Stellerware for years to bring Elixir to the Public and it definitely paid off...yet at what cost....
