Slurred words (I swear I'm not abandoning this blog!!)
“Heee... He does this thing, an’ he looks a’you- well, he looks a’me. And he looks like- like the worl’ just stopped, an’ all he sees is me, an’ tha’s all he could ever need.”

"Memories of Sorrow"
"Don't go," she begged, arms wrapped tight around him. "I can't let you leave."
"You know I must," Cole said, face stiff but voice giving away just how badly he didn't want to leave. "It's desertion if I'm not there to command my men."
"Then I'll go too."
"Absolutely not. You may be a woman of hellfire, but war is no place for a woman. Especially not one I love so dearly as you."
Jamie held him tight, but nodded. "Come home to me."
"There's nowhere else I'd ever go, love."
But she watched him go, gun slung over his shoulder, Jamie leaned against the doorway to their home, thinking that this war, a country divided against itself, could be the one that would finally take him from her. She closed the door, leaned against the wall, and tried fruitlessly to stop her sobs.
Forgive me :3
Forgive me: I will write a drabble about my character forgiving yours or vise versa.
"You didn't." Jamie stared, walking around the car in the driveway, holding Evie on her hip. "Tell me you didn't." She opened the side door; two car seats sat in the middle. "Oh, god, you did." She looked over the hood of the dark green minivan at her husband. "I understand why you did. I forgive you for that much. But holy fuck, Adrian, what the hell were you thinking?"
"Babe, come quick, and bring the camera! I think Lindsey's about to take her first steps!"
Ven smiled as she came out into the living room, camera in tow. "So she is," she turned it on and aimed at their daughter. "She is growing up so fast."
Jamie/Adrian :P
who’s the cuddler: Totally Jamie.
who makes the bed: Absolutely Adrian.
who wakes up first: Adrian, no contest.
who has the weird taste in music: Well, Jamie listens to music from all eras of her past, which Adrian finds weird sometimes, but she endlessly mocks him for the songs he sings in the shower.
who is more protective: Both of them in different ways.
who sings in the shower: Both. Adrian's is louder, though.
who cries during movies: Jamie, especially old ones.
who spends the most while out shopping: Adrian for healthy food. Both are about equal in every other category.
who kisses more roughly: When appropriate, both. Sometimes Jamie thinks about how much time they have left and she becomes the rough kisser without telling him why, and sometimes Adrian has his own reasons without telling her.
who is more dominate: Adrian. And Jamie likes it that way.
my rating of the ship from 1-10: 10. Duh. Obviously.
"Evie swore today. She gets it off you." ((LIES))
ever-after-inc
"Oh, fuck, did she really?"
"You're as beautiful as the day I lost you."
ever-after-inc
Jamie raised her hand to his cheek, brushing her thumb over those lips she had kissed so many times before. He looked older, maybe a little greyer and more tired- much more tired. "And you are as handsome as the day I left," she whispered. She tried to force a smile, knowing nothing would forgive the decade she had been away, the ten years by his side that she had lost, but still desperate to kiss him again. "I hope you've been happy," she said softly. "I hope you can forgive me someday. And I hope you know, Adrian, what I did was only done to save your life, my dearest love."
♞ (In the Robby verse, where Jamie is sick for the first time after becoming mortal :P )
♞:Caring for each other while ill (specify which party is which)
She didn't want to move. She didn't want to breathe. She didn't even want to open her eyes. Everything hurt, and Jamie was miserable. Her bedroom door opened, and she only just turned to look at Adrian, bringing her chicken soup. "I'm going to die," she rasped, only half kidding.
