I’d love to, but I need a publishing house to make an offer to me on them, first! Given that I don’t know if I want to sell the print/ebook rights and only want to sell the audio rights... I’m not sure how that would go (I’ve had a number of offers from publishing houses but they haven’t been attractive enough for me at this stage - self-publishing is working out for me) as most audio rights get sold with all the other rights.
Audio books are extremely expensive to record; we’re talking $8,000-20,000. The actors are expensive and I don’t have that sort of money! It would need to be a publishing house that would do it, and UMS and F&B are sort of niche literature so I don’t expect anyone would consider them :) I’m definitely open to selling the audio rights, though! :)
