It wasn’t that often that she got to draw the same random subject twice. It’d been months, but she remembered that face. With New York finally warming up, Ruby was back to her time in the park after work to unwind, sketching fellow park goers. It was quick practice, a warm up if she was going into the shop or even just back at home. He was a delightful surprise on the opposite park bench and she was quick to get down the basic shape of his posture in her sketchbook. Her eyes darted from the page to him and back, her pencil gliding across the paper. He’d noticed her last time, she’d hand this one over to him if she got it right. The previous sketch she’d shown him when he’d caught her, but she didn’t think she’d captured….Something about him. There was some kind of ease to him, in his bright blues, that she hadn’t gotten right. @everettupshall
