here is the sketch for my embroidery of karlach cliffgate, the best gal ❤️ she is from the game baldur's gate 3. this is for a 3inch hoop, so it's pretty dang small. been chipping away at the embroidery for astarion's second portrait and i'm loving it so much!! his curls just take a heck of a long while to stitch 😂 can't wait to share him with y'all, and to start in on wyll's embroidery! next sketches i'm planning are halsin, shadowheart, gale, and a third astarion because i truly cannot control myself. are there any you'd like to see bumped up the list/added to it? this game is near and dear to my heart and i have no plans of evicting these brain worms any time soon c:

vexed by this vampire! #baldursgate3 has been my chosen de-stressor lately, and this lil garbage heap of a man #astarion possessed me to start and finish this in a night. 😳

made a bit of an accidental discovery while drawing out some future embroideries...i think muslin might be my favorite thing to sketch on?? i never usually use pencil to rough out my embroideries, usually it's a fabric marker of some sort that can be washed away easily, but *boy* did i have entirely too much fun with this one!!

as you may be able to tell if you are also afflicted with the brain worms - this is wyll ravengard from baldur's gate 3. eventually i would like to do portraits of all the origin characters, and maybe a special npc or two. <3 karlach's sketch will be up next! and astarion's second portrait is still being stitched away at. c:

now all i can do is cross my fingers and toes that embroidery won't end up ruining what is likely the best thing i've ever drawn. pray for me? xD

astarion embroidery number 2 is finally finished ❤️ i feel like this one got a lot closer to his likeness than i managed with the last, which is always a good feeling! i won't lie, though. i really feel like my drawing and embroidery skills have leveled up since i started this piece, and i am downright *GIDDY* to see how the new round of sketches turn out. wyll's embroidery is officially on the hoop and getting his stitches! after him will be karlach. next sketch to look out for will be halsin! would love to hear any you want added to or bumped up the queue. ❤️
