Everly: Um...Marianne? You didn’t tell the boys yet did you?

Abel: Everly and Marianne can I talk to you two upstairs please?

Marianne: No...I haven’t told them yet. I ran out f the house so fast I only told Seth. The boys had school.

Abel sat down and looked his two oldest children in the eyes before he could speak he got choked up just looking at Everly who was so much like Trinity. Faith looked just like her Mother but Everly was the strength behind them all.

Abel: So I just received a call from an Animal Shelter in Brindleton Bay.

Marianne: Brindleton Bay? That’s so far away. Why did they call you?

Abel: They had actually been trying to reach your Mom. Apparently she was in the process of adopting a puppy and had been approved for delivery of it. They are dropping it off tomorrow.

Everly: I completely forgot. she said that you were so sad after Ducky died all those years ago that she thought you would like another one to retire with.

Everyone joined Faith by Trinity’s grave. and once they were all together the birds started singing loudly.

Marianne broke down unable to come to grips even after a week

Everly: Do you hear that Dad? They’re singing for her.

Abel:I think you’re right Sweetheart.

Wyatt: I love you Mom.

Everly: He seems to have made up his mind.

Marianne: But to go somewhere else? His home is here.

Everly: I agree but it’s his choice and I understand it. He doesn’t want to be a burden.

Marianne: He’s right...you’re just like Mom.

Marianne: Daddy I know this is going to be tough but we should talk about it. Faith is on her way back from the city but we’re here.

Isa: You know what Trinity would want you to do.

Abel: Fine but only because Trin would be saying the same thing.

Everly: Hey...w-we need to talk. Away from Wyatt and Faith.

Marianne: Why Ev...I don’t like the look on your face. What’s happened?

Everly: *whispers* It’s Dad. There’s something wrong with him.

Seth: I think we’re past it. I stopped working with her and things have been pretty calm ever since.
