(NIV) Genesis 9.10 - and with every living creature that was with you — the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you — every living creature on earth.
All that was with Noah gained a covenant that they only were able to because of the evil that man had displayed before. Although all the living things were not the reason why earth was destroyed, they were greatly affected by it. All living things are loved by God and perform as one on earth. It was made as more than the covenant for man, it was the covenant for earth.
