there’s a momentary pause as he glances over to the younger male, lips pursed in thought. in the back of his mind, his thoughts begin to race, and he remains silent in order to collect his own feelings of the situation. the boy should feel scared, no doubt in that. his own stubborn pride probably kept him from admitting the truth, but wirt is not one to point out these sort of flaws; instead, he sharply exhales, shifting a bit so that he could properly cover the cape to cover his whole torso.
