05/05/2017: Movies

I had a terrible day so I decided to watch a movie because I really believe movies can fix everything. I went to this little house where the film was projected with a couple of friends. And I was right. Movies can fix everything, turn your sadness into excitement, make your problems shrink, transform your whole being and instill ideas and beliefs. I had a terrible day. It ended beautifully.

I watched the Netflix documentary “The Internet’s own boy” about the life of Aaron Swartz, internet genius who tragically killed himself because of pressure and threats made by the government who wanted to make an example out of him. This story really hits me emotionnally because I realized I believe in the same things he did: Internet freedom and the power of knowledge. How come our society broke a man like him? What is wrong with us?

So here I am, writing to myself... I’ve decided to write down my thoughts every single day for a year. Of course i’m going to do that in English because why go easy on yourself when you can complicate thing? So this is my very first post and i hope it won’t be the last!

Never got in to halo but it looks fun! Today was pretty normal chill day not much to report. Btw my friends house is insanely crazy in here! This is his tv haha
