Geonates App - Everyday City
Everyday City is a mobile application which requires iOS 4.1 or later. This app uses your phones GPS capabilities to automatically update the city you’re currently in and posts this update on Facebook.
As this app constantly tags your location and updates your current city to Facebook, we could perhaps link this to work with hubii.com which filters news items based on location.

In theory it provides good features and potential, however I’m not sure if it was due to geographic locations, but the app never managed to detect my current city and kept freezing on the below screen. After looking on Google I noticed that I wasn’t the only one having difficulties with this app. One person commented “I thought the geo-based events was a really cool feature.
