you post a lot of lilly lately, any tips on growing my collection? it's so $$$

I have admired it for years but didn’t have the money (or the places to wear it really) until this year for various reasons.  I know it’s expensive and I only have a few things at the moment but I also want to have a bigger collection.  Some of the other blogs on here such as #everydayinlilly (and many others) have a LOT of Lilly things and they seem to be involved in things like the ReLilly facebook group, but I only buy directly from the company. Except for the headband I just got, which isn’t Lilly, but a headband in Lilly fabric.  

If there’s a Lilly Pulitzer store near you, often they will have a sale rack. I’ve gotten one or two things from there at my local retail store.

One thing I can recommend is considering what you want ahead of time.  For example, I knew I wanted a certain tank top, preferably in one of the spring prints, and then I went to the Lilly retail store near me on Memorial Day Weekend when they were giving away a bracelet with every purchase and other gifts if you spent more. (I didn’t spend more, because I only wanted the one thing.)  So I got two things and it didn’t cost any more than just getting one thing.  I also just ordered my agenda, which I really need because I am a pen and paper person and their agendae don’t cost any more than a comparable type would. I was going to order it when they came out but today there was a free mystery gift with online purchases, so I ordered today.  No idea what the gift will be but it’ll be exciting to find out.  I knew about that because I follow them on their social media, which I really can’t recommend enough.  Especially their instagram.  They are very on top of it.  It seems like there are lots of promotions. 

I know there was just a warehouse sale, and there will be another sale in August, but I am not the person to ask about those because I have not yet participated in either one.  Thanks for the ask :)
