Everyday Monuments: Variable arrangements
Medium: Mixed media (Paper Mache and oil)
As our paper mache creation started to take structure, our professor asked us to locate a specific place to fill. Making ensuring the project matched the region well was the challenge. It was intriguing to arrange our pieces in places that not only occupied the available space but also gave the overall design a constructed appearance.

Assignment #12 - Everyday Monuments: Variable Arrangements
Medium: N/A
Dimensions: Vary
Here are all of the everyday objects that my classmates and I have made. The prompt for this assignment was to go to places around campus while each person makes their own arrangements of all of the objects together. There is much distinction between space and the objects in the space. Objects appear to be smaller, but I feel that not cropping the background or anything gives the space a more natural element. It was interesting to see all of my classmates' interpretations of what space is and how they can utilize spaces at their fullest potential. Look at how interesting the colors look when they fill up the space! It gives it so much more life.
