VIRAL INTERVENTIONS FINAL DOCUMENTATION
For this final project, my group and I decided to present our project at Target shopping center. The idea was to place each 8 pieces of cardboard that represent the "phases" of the moon on the floor, depicted from stillness through anxiety, and for the people to paint on the faces depending on their emotions with mica powder. Each emotion had a corresponding color, and once the people finished coloring, we provided them with a napkin to wipe off the powder. With this interaction, the people who mainly interacted with the artwork were those around us. Usually, those who were older looked at the work and didn't interact with it. At first, not many painted on the emotions. Some just looked at it, complimented it, or just ignored it. Since there were few interactions, my group and I went to ask people to paint on their emotions. There were moments when some people said no, but thankfully, a few people came to paint on their faces. Some drew a happy face or a doodle. Some covered the entire face. Even though this project was challenging, overall, it was a lot of fun.
