okay, who broke my tag
Shere's brow furrowed as he considered the mouse's hotly spoken words. The mouse had friends, but the tiger had confidence that he could take any of them down with a single blow of his paw. Though he himself had no friends, the tiger couldn't see an issue with that. He could handle himself. Shere Khan raised his paws in mock defeat, a pout weighing down his lips. "Oh! I tremble! Please no, I beg of you, mousie!" Shere simpered, then flicked out a claw and began to trace the mouse's face
If there's one thing that Timothy hated, it was when unwanted people put themselves in his own personal space. He might have a natural fear of cats, but this was ridiculous. "Hey hey hey!" He shoved the claw away from his face. "Claws off the face! I'm not like that, ya creep!"
The tiger laughed, clapping his paws together an inch from the mouse's face. "Oh, yes? What will you do about it?" Shere flopped onto his back and began to moan and writhe in pain theatrically, looking up to shoot a venomous look at the mouse.
"I dunno," the mouse mock-shrugged. "I've got some friends in high places, if ya know what I mean." Now that he thought about it, a lot of Timothy's friends had something to do with the air or flight. Iago was a parrot, Dumbo could fly, Jiminy had that star girl of his (which until further notice was an invisible being to the mouse), Ratigan... had that weird blimp. Nonetheless, he knew people who were willing to have his back in situations like this.
"My, the place is just crawling with mousies today!" Shere Khan sneered, a hint of cruel laughter in his tone. "Who's to say if don't eat you up for my supper?"
Timothy backed up, keeping his distance from the tiger. He had a few run-ins with the big cats in the circus before, but none were like this. This tiger was sophisticated and purely untamed by any man. "I's to say ya won't," the mouse shot back, eyes narrowing at the striped beast. "Same goes fer any of my pals. Ya mess with 'em, ya mess with me too."

Sabini took one took one last look at her old home before taking off. She wanted to be rid of this place, of the familiar smells, the crisp, cool air of the night. She headed for the only place she felt truly comfortable: the jungle. Sabini tore through the dense undergrowth in a frenzied fashion, scaring a nearby boar who was enjoying a nighttime snack. Her heartbeat sped up as she picked up speed, easily navigating through the closely-woven trees. She was born in the jungle, raised in it, so she knew each and every nook and cranny in the place. Or at least she did, until the fire had struck and swept the place of all of its familiarity. She slowed down as she realized that the jungle she was in was now foreign and unfriendly. Everything had grown back, but now confused her. A sudden chill crept over her entire body as she soon realized she was being watched. She spun around, the neck at the nape of her neck raised. "Show yourself." She hissed, her voice barely audible to the stranger.
