some writing techniques that have really helped me lately, especially when i'm not worried about the quality of the writing, just the fact that i have a 5/6/10k goal that day:
just take 30 seconds. bathroom break, water break, snack break, shower break. i can't tell you how many times it has helped me to walk away from the screen after staring at that blinking cursor. i've gotten so many dialogue lines or lines that come next in the scene i'm writing that i can't wait to get back to the screen and write them down.
remember what the end goal of the scene is. where are your characters going? do they mean to accomplish something? is there a realization that needs to happen? if you're stuck in a slow bit of dialogue, it can be helpful to remember why you're here and where you're going.
if there's a scene that's been giving you trouble and you're stuck on, just abandon it. it's not going anywhere, it will be there for you to spend as much time on once editing comes. skip ahead to the next one or to a scene that you're excited to write.
