7, 9, 24, 28, 31, 33, 37, 63, 74 and 81? (if this is too much, you can pick whichever ones you wanna answer!)
7. Do you have any pets? Not anymore :/ Our last two guinea pigs died a little more than two years ago and with my sister and I not staying anywhere long enough we haven’t really had the possibilities to get new pigges or cats or something.
9. How tall are you?About 1.65m.
24. Baths or showers?Showers. Give me something to do and don’t let me be conscious of my stupid body for as long.
28. What type of music do you like? The type that has some important connection to something great for me. Either by one of my two favourite bands, or sung by one of my faves, or connected to some of my fabourite shows or films or people...that type.
31. What position do you usually sleep in?I think normally on my side, probably mostly on the left.
33. What do you typically have for breakfast? If I have breakfast at all, usually a chocochino and either Nutella toast or a muffin.
37. Favorite swear word?I don’t really have any that I actually like very much (and don’t use many either), definitely not one go-to one. Since I have a certain affinity for southern German dialects atm I’ll just mention an exclamation of annoyance they like to use: ‘Herrschaft!’ (also because it reminds me of a wonderful Bullyparade-sketch that combines this with Star Trek)
63. Biggest Fear?Losing everyone and -thing I love and being alone and helpless.
74. Are you ticklish?I think I’m pretty good at not showing it and surpressing any reaction, but yeah, a bit.
81. Can you roll your Rs?Not nearly as well as I want to. Sometimes I manage it well enough, but talking about ‘can’ would be too much.
Thank you Emma!! :D
For the ask thingy: 5 6 10 11 & 14 please!
5. What character that you’re writing do you most identify with?
Since I’m basically writing everything Weasley these days, I would probably have to say Molly Prewett Weasley. I see her as someone whose experienced a lot that would leave her prone to anxiety and worrying. And also the fierceness she exhibits in protecting her family. Of course, she’s waay more domestic and more of a mother than I could ever hope to be. But I feel I connect with her most on an individual level outside of all the mother/wife-ness.
6. What character do you have the most fun writing?
Some of my original characters have been the most fun. I love writing canon characters, but the OC’s are like mine? :) So I can really just run wild and free with them. But more specifically, Primrose “Rose” Jorkins is my favorite. I wrote more of her history in We Were Only Kids (although I’ve kind of denounced that fic and moved on to writing Molly/Arthur in other universes outside of this one, so idk where that leaves it). But she’s just bold, speaks before she thinks (like me often), but she would do anything for her friends. Also, she’s unapologetic about who she is (lesbian in the 60s/70s), and leaves a toxic home life for a better one. And I made her a badass Quidditch Player too. She doesn’t get a lot of screen time in Comfort in Chaos, but I have her ending up with a canon character, so maybe that means a future fic feat. her. :)
10.How would you describe your writing process?
It’s a lot like my life hah. I make plans, other things pop up, and I have to make concessions. Normally I start with dialogue, fill in action around that, and then go with the internal stuff. Descriptions sometimes follow this or sometimes if I am in a “deep,” sort of mood they flow out first. Again, see that first sentence because it doesn’t always unfold like I think it might. I think a lot of it is based on my own personal feeling too. If I want people to feel a certain way, I tend to write until that emotion comes out of me.
11. What do you envy in other writers?
Mostly their way with words. Someone who can weave in literary devices into their work with beautiful descriptions and convey just the right emotion/mood has my attention. I often struggle with this and feel my inclusion of such poetic language is clunky.
14. At what point in writing do you come up with a title?
Whenever inspiration strikes LOL. I came up with Woven Together when I needed to publish the story LOL. Comfort in Chaos was developed after writing half of chapter 1 and the summary (in case you didn’t pick up on it, Arthur brings Molly comfort in all the chaos that is their weekend together). Hardened Hearts Say Unimaginable Things was conceived when I was listening to a Florence + The Machine song. And it just kind of gave me feelings for Septimus/Cedrella before I had clearly defined their story. (Spoiler: It’s actually not a lyric, but my misinterpretation of one LOL). So really creating a title happens at any point in the process for me.
ask me about my writing
20, 23 and 24 please 😊
20 What’s a common writing tip that you almost always follow?
Hmmm...probably to read a lot? I suck at being disciplined with anything else involving writing habits. And sometimes when I’m stuck writing, reading is a nice alternative and jostles something free.
23. What’s more important: characters or plot?
I see my characters often as driving the plot, so having a firm grasp on them is important.
24. Do you have any abandoned WIP’s? What made you abandon them?
Oh hecking yes! Come on girl, you know this! ;) But I suppose I never explained the “why,” to you. A lot of times it’s because I feel like I’ve ruined something fundamental with the main characters or written myself into a corner with them that I cannot pull them out of. Or there are too many plot holes and I cannot see a way of plugging them all up. I’m getting better at not deleting shit altogether or abandoning it (you know, 14 years later), but rather revising and trying to make it work.
Dankje, mijn eendje! <3

Right now could be difficult, but what are you doing the weekend of June 3rd? Because then my mum and sister and I are going there again, and we have one spot in the car left ;)

06: How do you want to die?
Next to the one I love, or surrounded by people who love me. Also, add that I’m an old lady who has lived her life to the fullest.
07: What did you last eat?
A soft pretzel & fried ravioli’s.
12: Have you ever stayed up 48 hours?
I was probs pretty close to the 48 hour mark. I don’t remember the exact hour count. But there were some pretty heinous weeks during finals at university where lots of sleep was lost.
16: How exactly are you feeling at the moment?
Ehh…ok. I’d rather not get super detailed with it.
25: Do you miss anyone from your past?
Not constantly. But when certain things happen, I think about certain people. And yeah, I guess I miss certain moments & memories I shared with them.
37: Is it easier to forgive or forget?
I tend to forgive before I forget. But I also am of the belief that just because you forgive someone, doesn’t mean that you have the same relationship with them as you did before.
40: Have you ever walked outside completely naked?
Not that I am aware of.
52: Do you believe everything happens for a reason?
I guess, yeah.
58: Favourite weather?
Crisp enough for a sweater, sun shining & leaves changing.
69: Do you believe in soulmates?
I mean, I never did. Then certain things happened, and yeah, I guess I do now.
