John grimaced, averting his gaze briefly at Sherlock's chuckle and comment of amusement. His whole pose screamed 'enjoying this too much'. In warning, John hissed Sherlock's name, but Hayley merely smiled along with the sleuth. She took relief in the dark humour of the situation. "I do have my pride. I'm nowhere near as smart as you, but I am smart." She assured him, resting her hands and the device back in her lap. John strode to the kitchen to fetch the tea as previously left to him. "I wanted to figure out who the person is on my own..." John returned with the tray, setting the mugs down, leaning against the desk, holding his own. "I don't usually wear the same things twice in a row. I like fashion too much." She admitted sheepishly. Just like that, her eyes lit up, "That was how he could hear me outside my flat and see me! He bugged my jacket! I know there are cameras all over my flat, but-- That's why it took longer for him to know where I was! He couldn't hear me tell the driver." Oh, dear, John thought. Sherlock either had a long lost daughter or possibly a new friend. Too alike.
